Corrèze Lot Périgord: Wonderland

Day 1 :
Arrival at your accommodation. Welcome drink, dinner and accommodation in a 4-star hotel.

Day 2 :
Depart in the direction of Sarlat.
Guided tour of Sarlat, capital of the Périgord Noir. You will fall under the charm of this city which has managed to preserve the integrity of its old buildings and is now one of the most beautiful medieval complexes in Europe.
Depart for the Dordogne valley.
La Roque Gageac, "classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France", built at the foot of a cliff facing due south, the golden houses with their lauze or brown tiled roofs were set in the waters of the Dordogne.

On the banks of the Dordogne, Beynac -et- Cazenac reveals its imposing castle, once besieged by Richard the Lionheart, at the foot of which rest the houses with their lauze roofs and blond facades.

Day 3:
Depart in the direction of Padirac.
Guided visit of the gouffre de Padirac, the most famous in Europe, considered as one of the greatest geological curiosities in France. Lunch.
Free stop at Rocamadour, a medieval city, famous for its pilgrimage that worships the Black Virgin, the second most visited site in France after Mont Saint Michel.
Back by Collonges la Rouge (classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France). Splendid city built in red sandstone with an exceptional heritage and Turenne (classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France), a medieval city built on a promontory dominated by its castle. Dinner and accommodation in a 4* hotel.

Day 4:
Travassac, guided tour of the Ardoisières de Corrèze. You will discover the imprint left by slate workers since the 17th century. Let yourself be guided through this unique setting through the 7 veins of Travassac where mineral and vegetable ingredients blend harmoniously. Lunch.
Depart for Pompadour by Uzerche, the Gorges de la Vézère and Vigeois. Free stop at Pompadour, city of the Marquise with its castle dating from the 15th century. Return through the valley of l’Auvézère with a passage through Ségur le Château (classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France).
