Corrèze: grand tour

Day 1 :
Arrival at your tourist residence. Welcome drink, dinner and accommodation.

Day 2 :
Drive to Bort les Orgues. Guided tour of the castle ofVal. Built in the 15th century, it is one of the best preserved and one of the most remarkable castles in Haute-Auvergne. Lunch.
Head for the Gorges de la Dordogne by the route des Ajustants. During this route, you will discover a wild and preserved nature such as the site of Gratte Bruyère or structures such as the Pont de Saint Projet.
Dinner and accommodation in a 4-star tourist residence.

Day 3 :
Depart in the direction of Collonges la Rouge (classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France). Lunch. Guided tour of Collonges la Rouge, a magnificent city built in red sandstone with an exceptional heritage, castles, turret and watchtower houses, 15th century church.
Return by Argentat by the road of the vineyard of Branceilles. Stop for a tasting.
Curemonte (classified as one of the "most beautiful villages of France). Built on a rocky outcrop, this medieval village welcomes you around its old noble houses decorated with turrets and escutcheons and its three castles. Beaulieu/Dordogne (medieval city built in a meander of the Dordogne).
Dinner and accommodation in a 4* tourist residence.

Day 4 :
Travassac, Guided tour of the slate quarries of Corrèze. You will discover the imprint left by slate workers since the 17th century. On the site, a slate quarryman will show you the ancestral gestures that make it possible to transform stone into a slate with an unequalled reputation. Depart for Pompadour by Uzerche, the Gorges de la Vézère and Vigeois. Lunch. Free stop at Pompadour, city of the Marquise with its castle dating from the 15th century.
Louis XV acquired it in 1745 and offered it to his favorite the famous marquise de Pompadour. Return through the Auvézère valley with a passage throughSégur le Château (classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France).
Dinner and accommodation in a 4-star tourist residence.

Day 5 :

Depart for the great Tour of the plateau of Millevaches and the Massif des Monédières to discover the villages built in granite and with slate roofs (Bugeat, Lestard, Tarnac, Chaumeil...) Lunch.
Guided tour of "Meymac Près Bordeaux".
You will discover how Meymac became the "capital" of great Bordeaux wines in the 19th century, a business that enriched and shaped the architecture of the village.
Dinner and accommodation in a 4* tourist residence.

Day 6 :
Breakfast - End of services
